Directors

This page brings together independent filmmakers presented on CathayPlay. Emerging from diverse regions and contexts, their practices engage with reality, history, and personal experience through distinct cinematic approaches. By viewing their works together, we move beyond individual films to trace the varied aesthetic languages and modes of expression that shape independent cinema.
