On the cold night when humans defeated AlphaGo, the tired Lee Sedol went to bed early. The world regained its reserve in the panic, thinking that artificial intelligence was just a false alarm. However, in the long night, AlphaGo played another one million games with itself. When the sun rose the next day, AlphaGo had become a completely different existence, but Lee Sedol was still Lee Sedol. Humanity stands no chance. Today, with the rapid development of AI, it is gradually controlling our lives and subverting the social order. AI is surpassing humans in every field. This always makes me wonder, if AI has self-awareness, is it still willing to serve humans? Perhaps people should pay more attention to Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking’s concern that “artificial intelligence will lead to the extinction of mankind”. I also wonder, does the world we live in really exist? Realistic VR, “all appearances are false” in the Buddhist scriptures…all made me have a lot of doubts. These two points are the original intention of my creation of this film.
