Oh, the San Xia

In 2010, the Three Gorges Dam on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River stored water to 175 meters, marking the completion of the largest water conservancy project in human history. The following year, an unprecedented drought occurred in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. This series follows the historical process promoted by the Three Gorges Project and explores the decision-making background for the Three Gorges Project. The director visited many opposition parties and dissidents, and visited many immigration points in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, and visited the livelihoods and ecological difficulties faced by the Three Gorges immigrants.
